• Lists for coefficients. Wrap polynomial terms in square brackets, e.g. [1, 2, 3] for the numerator and [1, 0, 2] for the denominator.
• Parentheses for factors. Type factored forms such as (s+3+2*j)(s+3-2*j); they render exactly as written while the app expands them behind the scenes.
• Python-style notation. Use s^2 or s**2, scientific notation like 1e5, and complex values with j. Mix brackets and parentheses to match your workflow.
